Project Description:

Space weather in low-earth orbit has been characterised by seven main elements: microgravity, residual atmosphere, high vacuum, atomic oxygen, ultraviolet and ionisation radiation, solar radiation, and space debris. This project considers the design and prediction of materials using computational physics techniques for device and spacecraft coatings.
